Ohhh

what charming accents!

Have I mentioned my soft soft soft spot for the British accent? Lol. I am rather thankful for this 'weird fetish' since it enables/makes me listen to the BBC for hours on end. (Information is a powerful powerful thing, kids ;] ) However, since I started interning, I haven't had the chance to catch James Dagwell doing the morning news. Which really, is such a bummer. He was my morning 'eye & ear candy'! Hah.

Anyway, I was just watching the first PMQ since the coalition government was formed. I thought Cameron made a good, strong point when he said he'd rather give accurate answers than make them up at the stand, when he was mildly jeered at his inability to give his guarantee on some policies. I feel that seemed to have been the fatal flaw with the past Labour PMs. It's gonna be interesting to see the upheavals that this government can bring about and as much as I hope for a better economy, I really really wish that the pound against the SGD will rise at a very very relaxed and dawdling rate. Lol.

Any shoppers out there? Blackshucks is having a spree sale. They have really really pretty sandals and some heels now... I wish I could get 2 of it but I'm such a poor intern now it's not funny. Which reminds me, I was recently a victim of a fraudulent charge made on my credit card!! Haha, too bad whoever is was (asshole!) chose my card, since it has such a low credit limit. The bank detected suspicious activity immediately. I think I ought to be more worried about this.... (like where in the world did they get my details.) But well they're sending me a new card and their awesomely prompt response was assuring. So, bravo Citibank! Haha. Right.
