Padalecki

is my forever boy.

One of my favourite quotes of all time is by Kurt Vonnegut, where he says, 'the only possible redemption for the madness and apparent meaninglessness of existence was human kindness'. That is never more true especially in this dog-eat-dog world that we live in today. Despite my fervent need to be optimistic and see the best in people, I still get so amazed everytime, by acts of kindness that occur at the most random of places. It may be naive and idealistic, but it nevertheless, makes me feel glad and comforted by the fact that there are people out there who are willing to lend a hand if you need help, even if it brings them no tangible gains.
I like to think that I inherited my compassionate side from my Dad. Haha.. it's clear as day that we both find it hard to say no, when people ask for help. It can be a bad thing I know, when people use it to their advantage.. but that's on their conscience, not mine. Plus we're not that dumb to let them trample all over us. With a lil improv, hell hath no fury like kindness being manipulated/taken advantage of, no? :D

I treasure the friends I have and try to make it a point to keep up and make things work. But I'm only human and sometimes I make mistakes. Even so, it takes 2 hands to clap and there comes a point when one gets too tired to try anymore, so you let it go. Life's too short, really.

Today's Swedish word of the day is: Vän. Which means friend. Min vän means my friend, and mina vännen means my friends.
Swedish phrase: Vad ska vi äter? Which means what shall we eat?

To all those who have exams coming up, good luck kids! (: I know I sure as hell need some divine intervention for mine. lol. (:

Leave you with a cute picture I found,

xx
